Assembling and packaging residential garage door hardware according to model specifications.
Printing daily production orders and labels.
Coordinating with Supervisor and/or Receiving Department to ensure adequate supply of raw materials; reorder as needed.
Visually inspecting all parts to ensure they meet quality standards; reject and report defective materials.
Assembling parts according to order specifications.
Banding together and labeling assembled materials; stacking on skids; delivering to appropriate staging area.
Completing required quality inspections and production reports.
Following prescribed safety regulations.
Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Performing other job-related duties and activities as needed.
REM-03 WS-03 Shift start: 3:00PM or 11:00PM
Shift length: 8 hours
3pm – 11pm; 11pm – 7am
Ability to read and understand simple written instructions, procedures, and correspondence; ability to complete routine reports and checklists.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, or decimals.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to meet production and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a work team.
Close, distance, and peripheral vision.
Depth perception.
Ability to discern colors and adjust focus.
6 months to 1 year of related training and/or experience.
May be required to stand, walk, finger/grasp, reach with arms or hands, twist, and listen continuously.
May be occasionally required to stoop, pull, push, and talk.
Frequently required to work in hot and/or humid conditions.
Must be able to stand on your feet throughout the shifts.
