This position will train on 1st shift and will transition to 2nd shift once trained.
-To oversee one or multiple production lines in the area of quality by performing secondary quality control checks as outlined by the Plant Quality Manager or the position's equivalent.
-To ensure that EPI meets or exceeds both its own quality standards and the customer specifications.
-To accurately and effectively communicate the quality standards and expectations of both EPI and the customer to all subordinates to ensure a quality conscience environment.
-To ensure that all plant employees are adhering to the EPI Corporate GMP's and Code of Conduct and that when an employee is observed to be breaking a GMP or COC, he/she will bring it to the attention of the employee and subsequently will involve upper management in the discipline process.
-To completely and accurately do any and all necessary paperwork associated with being a secondary level of quality management as put forth by the Plant Quality Manager and or the customer.
-Any other job hat management deems necessary to provided that it is lawful and that the Quality Assurance Associate is physically capable of performing the requested task.
-Backup to Plant Quality Manager when Director of Quality is not immediately available.
