Description If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an engaging, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. This role will involve various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.Your responsibilities in this role
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures
Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Accountable for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department
Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors
Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook
Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations Requirements - Experience with full cycle recruiting

Excellent written and verbal business skills
Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
Prior HR experience in a Generalist capacity
Prior experience or knowledge managing Open Enrollment is a plus
Proven understanding local, state and federal laws
Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms
