Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing EngineerContract on W2 (Possibility for extensions)Work type – Onsite from Urbana OH 43078Pay budget - $24 - $36.96/hr on W2MUST HAVE OR REQUIRED

Must be able to clearly communicate with associates of all levels Looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who is a self-starter, self-motivated team player with the ability to think outside of the box to solve complex problems in a fast-paced Aerospace environment.

Must be able to read and interpret part drawings and aviation related specifications.

Must be able to read, understand and create manufacturing work instructions.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Projects, Visio and Outlook.

Must be able to Identify failure modes and determine RCCA.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must have the ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gage and feature checking gages to determine part conformity.

Must have the ability to understand part and assembly BOM structure.

Must have experience working with internal and external suppliers and customers.

Must have the ability to identify opportunities for tooling and/or fixturing and make design recommendations.

Must have experience with time study of manufacturing and/or assembly operations.

Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.

Experience with APQP functions: Process Map, Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA & PFEP is preferred.

Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred.

Experience identifying capital projects, submitting capital project requests and work with purchasing and the capitalization team to complete capital projects is preferred.

BS in Engineering is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITY

Proficient with computers using Micro Soft products; excel, power point, word.

Experience with Team Center, SharePoint and/or SAP are preferred.

Review and update manufacturing work instructions.

Must be able to read and interpret product drawings.

Identify applicable tooling and test equipment within the manufacturing work instructions and/or SAP routings to be considered for transfer.

Verify physical location of the applicable tooling and test equipment.

Clearly identify all applicable tooling and test equipment and review with production to insure it is not used for product outside of the project scope.

Provide clear documentation of the location and shipping details for all applicable tooling and test equipment.

Work with the production teams to understand when tooling and test equipment will be available for transfer.

Physically move or coordinate the movement of all applicable tooling and test equipment to the shipping area.

Create a project timeline and provide daily/weekly updates on the progress of the project.
