A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Systems Engineer

with Controls, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering specialty your primary

objective will be to manage in-service technical issues and support our

customer operations of the gas turbine packages to be more efficient. You can

expect to get involved with executing small projects, supporting install &

commissioning remotely or on site, and supporting development of in-service

product improvements and solutions.How You’ll Make anImpact

Gethands on with solving issues and devising systemic and sustainingsolutions to help our customers keep their equipment operational in a safemanner. From providing input into user documentation to travel overseasmay be required on occasions.

Workwith our Operational Service Desk, Technical Support and Field Serviceteams across the globe in supporting customers with urgent operationalissues, troubleshooting and maintenance which require specialist Productor Engineering knowledge.

Supportdevelopment of Industrial Control Systems software updates for retrofitprojects, identifying scope, develop and execute verification andvalidation plans, and support site installation and testing of solutionsto connect with field service and customer representatives efficiently andeffectively.

Encourageopen communication and collaboration among the Portfolio in Serviceengineering and Controls & Systems engineering groups across differentlocations.

Bedirectly involved in product safety and reliability investigations andimprovement programmes; data gathering and analysis, Root Cause Analysistechniques, develop potential solutions and improvement opportunities tothe business.

What You Bring

Abachelor’s degree in engineering, with a focus on Controls, Electrical,Electronics, Instrumentation, Software, or equivalent experience that isrecognized.

Workingexperience of industrial controls systems applications, advantageous tohave specific experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens brand PLCs, andRockwell, Bentley Nevada or Siemens vibration system products, or havingworked with similar products applications for industrial gas turbinetechnology, rotating equipment or general process plant operations.

Youwill be able to problem solve with practical application of root causeanalysis techniques and have broad outlook combined with analyticalmind-set: ability to make logical connections and understand the bigpicture quickly, as well as having a critical eye for details.

Familiarityof change/configuration management tools and processes, projectengineering methods as well as experience with relevant industry standards(e.g. IEEE, IEC, etc.) would be desirable.

Practitionerof a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highlydesirable.

Haveexperience working in culturally diverse environments and excellentcommunicator and facilitation skills!
