Description We are seeking a Controller situated in WESTLAKE, Ohio, United States. As a Controller, you will be entrusted with managing multiple business units, overseeing financial reporting, and handling period end closing among other tasks. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage multiple business units Handle consolidated financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance Lead the financial and period end closing processes Conduct intercompany analysis to ensure financial transparency and accuracy across all business units Respond to and manage ad hoc requirements as they arise Utilize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and other relevant software to enhance efficiency Implement and manage Corporate Consolidation processes Prepare and analyze Financial Statements Consolidation Handle Financial Consolidation to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded Manage Intercompany Accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar. Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is required. Experience in Corporate Consolidation and Financial Consolidation is necessary. Must have a strong understanding and experience in Financial Statements Consolidation. Expertise in Intercompany Accounting is required. Familiarity and experience with Period End Closing processes are essential. Strong communication and leadership skills. Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills. High degree of professionalism and strong ethical standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
