Description We are offering a role in the domain of Supply Chain Management Specialist, based in WESTLAKE, Ohio. The primary focus of the position will be to provide thought leadership in sourcing, supply chain, and production and demand planning. The objective is to optimize sourcing to delivery processes and update leadership on more effective practices. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Lead in sourcing, supply chain, and production and demand planning. Optimize sourcing to delivery processes for a team. Update leadership on more effective practices and document for future reference. Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Logistics, Purchasing Department, Customer Demand Planning, and Production Schedule. Leverage MAPICS software for improved efficiency and productivity. Requirements Proven experience in Supply Chain Management with a minimum of seven years in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Extensive knowledge in Logistics to ensure smooth operations and delivery Experience in a Purchasing Department, with the ability to negotiate and secure the best prices Ability to manage Customer Demand Planning to accurately forecast inventory needs Experience in developing and maintaining a Production Schedule to ensure timely delivery of products Familiarity with MAPICS for efficient supply chain operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Must be legally authorized to work in the country this role is located.
