The Technical Writer works under the direction of the CEO. The Technical Writer is responsible for the ideation, creation, and distribution of compelling content across multiple marketing platforms while maintaining a cohesive brand voice. Required Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field required
2+ Years in related field, and strong writing portfolio
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent writing and grammatical skills
Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text
Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Understanding of SEO
Content Writer Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Create content for a wide variety of marketing platforms including brochures, website, video scripts, white papers, blog and social media content, and product/service introductions.
Assist team in content creation of print advertisements, email campaigns, sales presentations, reports, trade show signage, technical articles along with instruction sheets and how to articles.
Meet with engineers and managers to learn about specific products or processes.
Research product samples to fully understand the company's products.
Work with graphic artists to visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product.
