We have a PRIMARY caregiver, and looking for a BACKUP experienced, dependable, compassionate caregiver for our father. This entails ONE day a week, and few additional days dependent on scheduling (mainly weekend or backup to primary). This is perfect for someone looking to work just a few hours a week, and a way to get out of the house while helping a senior.
My father is very independent and tries to do more than he should. He has a daily routine and gets along fine but, needs someone their primarily for safety. He's very social and you must be too! Wanting to be a companion will make this work.
Responsibilities include simple meal preparation, light housekeeping, safety monitoring, transportation to appointments, and companionship. Must be a non-smoker with clean background, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Unable to travel on heavy snow days is unacceptable.
