We are seeking someone to come over to an elderly home for two days a week for 3hrs each day on either Mondays and Thursdays or Mondays and Saturdays (caregiver choice) to care for a woman in her 70's. Care includes general cleaning up each day of vacuuming, as well as washing bedding/making bed, making lunch and cleaning up the kitchen. As well as any other general household tasks (no heavy lifting) that client requests (i.e. could also be getting the mail, opening mail, putting groceries away, putting dog outside).
Job requirements:
- can pass a background check
- has reliable transportation
- has reliable cell phone
- can commit to a reliable and stable schedule
- has a bachelor's degree
- has experience as an EMT, nurse aid, or home health care provider in some legitimate capacity (i.e not just having cared for a family friend or family member)
- is caring, genuine and good with older people
- is comfortable with a nice (big) dog
- can provide at least 2 professional (i.e past or current employer) references
- has a job history of staying with jobs for a minimum of one year
