Seeking part-time assistance with general Building Maintenance, as needed. Only light duties are required, there is no need for highly technical skills, and this individual will at times perform daily duties alone, or may work to assist the Building Maintenance Supervisor with larger projects from time to time.
Most common duties/responsibilities would include:
When working alone, arrive at 6:30 AM to open the building (all three floors)
Check elevator pit pumps and boiler room pit pump daily
Sweep and mop lobby (Mon) and main (Tues)/back stairs (Wed) and spills as needed
Check rooftop A/C units to ensure cooling fans are running and replace fans, if needed
Check drain pans
Empty recycling on all floors
Replace computer paper where needed
Replace paper bins when full, as needed
Clean sidewalks daily
Check for deliveries in entryway daily and move to basement, as needed
Other additional general duties as needed
When filling in for the Building Maintenance Supervisor, the above duties require approximately 2 hours daily. There is the potential for working weekends as needed, and depending on projects within the building additional hours may be required from time to time.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to pick up extra income part time, or for a retiree interested in supplemental income!
