Duties/Responsibilities
Coordinate daily activities of the production and operation teams.
Manage employees' attendance and hours worked.
Evaluate employee performance.
Delegate maintenance assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
Train and coach new and current employees
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions.
Lead all employees in company safety initiatives, foster a safe work environment, and enforce/support safety policies and rules.
Skills/Qualifications
3 or more years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous hands on experience in steel fabrication, production, or manufacturing.
Maintain welding operations through supervising, planning, scheduling and monitoring labor productivity.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Will be subject to pre-employment drug screening.
