We are seeking a skilled Electrician with a strong focus on solar energy systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both AC and DC electrical systems, MSP upgrades, meter main combos, basic residential electrical systems, and EV charging stations. Proficiency in battery backup systems such as Powerwalls and other similar technologies is essential. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and a willingness to adapt to job-specific requirements determined during site visits.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, specializing in solar energy systems and residential applications.
Conduct MSP upgrades and install meter main combos for residential solar setups.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings specific to solar energy installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AC and DC systems using tools such as ammeters and voltmeters.
Test solar and battery backup systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
Install and service EV charging stations in accordance with relevant codes and manufacturer specifications.
Provide expertise in the installation and maintenance of battery backup systems, including Powerwalls and other energy storage solutions.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices when working on-site.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong focus on residential and solar energy systems.
Expertise in AC and DC systems, MSP upgrades, meter main combos, and basic residential electrical work.
EV certification and knowledge of EV charging station installation.
Familiarity with battery backup systems (e.g., Powerwalls) and the ability to integrate them with solar setups.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring methods, and safety standards.
Ability to adapt to job requirements determined during site visits.
Valid electrician’s license and proof of insurance.
Reliable transportation (negotiable gas card provided).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
