Remodeler/handyman/maintenance person (Youngstown, Kent, Akron, Canton, and Northeast Ohio) Youngstown Rentals LLC
I am in need a general remodeler/maintenance person. The hourly pay is $17-$23 an hour and this will be a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8hrs a day at least 40 hours per week. Will also be on call weekends if an emergency arises. Knowledge of remodeling homes is also required to fill this position. You will perform a variety of tasks, such as painting, flooring, basic plumbing, basic electrical repairs, and other remodeling/maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition as well as also remodel homes for future rentals. You will not be taking calls from tenants. The property manager / project manager will be taking the calls and assigning jobs for you.
Responsibilities
● Perform residential multi-family property maintenance (replace light bulbs, switches, check circuit breaker panels etc.)
● Perform basic maintenance of plumbing systems (replace and repair valves, toilets, faucets, drains and other basic plumbing systems)
● Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
● Perform repairs to multi-family residential properties when needed (fix locks, replace windows
etc.)
● Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
● Knowledge of remodeling homes
● Able to commute to and from work in Youngstown, Akron, Canton, and surrounding areas in north east Ohio
Skills
● Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing
● Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
● Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
● General knowledge of how to remodel homes
