Job Description: As a Server employed by LGC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of events by providing exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our clients and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
-Event Setup: Assist in the setup, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations, as per event specifications.
-Table Service: Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and serve meals in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure all guests' needs are met promptly. The type of event you’re working will determine the type of service needed, which may include plated banquet service.
-Beverage Service: Provide a full range of beverage services, including wine and cocktail service, as well as non-alcoholic options. Verify guest identification for alcohol service when applicable.
-Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members, including bartenders, chefs, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless service throughout the event.
-Timing and Efficiency: Monitor the timing of courses to ensure that guests receive their meals in a coordinated and efficient manner.
-Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the banquet hall and serving stations. Clear dishes and clean tables as needed during and after the event.
-Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate and respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications:
-Previous serving experience is preferred, but not required.
-Must have two forms of ID for Form I9 completion
-Must be willing to complete a background check
-Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Punctuality and reliability are essential.
-Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy trays
