This role supports the Electric division by assisting with the installation, service, and maintenance of industrial, residential, and commercial electrical systems under the direct supervision of a project lead. You’ll be responsible for hands-on electrical work that directly impacts project quality, jobsite safety, and overall project success. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:Perform electrical installation, service, and maintenance work under supervisionMaintain 2nd year (2,000–4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician statusAttend continuing education to support annual registration renewalTrack and report electrical work experience and ongoing educationLearn and apply current electrical codes and best practicesRead and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documentsGain experience bending conduit using hydraulic bending machinesUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyWork in restricted areas and at heightsFollow KE safety policies and proceduresWork in all weather conditions depending on job location and seasonTravel to regional job sites, including overnight and out-of-town projectsWork occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredPerform additional duties as assigned
