Job Summary: You will be a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and forms partnerships across the HR department to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects our goals and facilitates a positive relationship. You will report to the Human Resources Supervisor.Primary Tasks:
You will respond to employee and manager phone inquiries of different natures, using multiple HR systems such as HRIS, Timekeeping, Pay Card, Employee Self Service.
Advise on performance management including performance reviews and disciplinary action and terminations.
Manage and resolve routine to mid-complex employee relations issues.
Review performance management plans and coach management staff before discussions with associates to ensure consistency and relevance.
You will monitor, audit and report on important metrics and responsibilities on an ongoing basis by working within HR systems.
Participate in planning department goals and systems.
Work with external entities in providing authorized employment information about such areas as employment verification, income verification, unemployment inquiries, and garnishment requests.
Ensure employee Human Resources files are up to date by assisting with all source documents received into the proper system in the prescribed folder based on system established guidelines.
You will train and provide support to HR Team members. May function in a supervisor role.
Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in Human Resources or related field or 4 years related experience.
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
Knowledge of general HR standards
Communicate with courtesy, provide information, and maintain relationships with a diverse group
Work discreetly with confidential information and situations and respond to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
Two (2) years Human Resources work experience
