HIRING Controller ASAP
Location: Lawton, OK
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in Lawton, OK. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong background in accounting and financial management. This role will focus on overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and assisting with the month-end close process.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Financial Reports: Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide a clear financial picture for executive leadership.
Monitor Internal Controls: Ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with all relevant regulations by maintaining and strengthening internal controls.
Interface with Executive Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to discuss financial performance, key metrics, and strategic planning.
Assist in Month-End Close: Support the month-end closing process, ensuring that all entries are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial projections, and forecasts to guide the company’s financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Proven experience as a Controller, Accountant, or in a similar financial management role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Competitive hourly pay rate of $35.00 - $38.00 per hour.
