Position Overview:
At HIS Paint Mfg. Co., as an Industrial Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the heartbeat of our customer success. Your role will be to create extraordinary experiences for our industrial clients, serving as the key contact to help them select, order, and receive the best paint solutions for their projects. Your expertise in our products and your dedication to outstanding service will position you as a trusted advisor to our customers, ensuring they get the results they need every time.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the go-to expert for our industrial clients—handle inquiries through phone, email, or in person with confidence and care.
- Provide expert technical support and product guidance to ensure clients choose the best coatings for their unique needs.
- Process orders with accuracy and speed, ensuring timely deliveries and top-notch service.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and other teams to meet our clients' needs and deadlines—together, we’ll get the job done right!
- Tackle and resolve any customer issues quickly, turning challenges into wins.
- Keep yourself up-to-date with our product offerings, pricing, and latest promotions.
- Work closely with our sales team to uncover new opportunities, upsell, and cross-sell, driving value for both customers and the company.
- Maintain detailed, organized records of your interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
- Continuously grow your product knowledge through training sessions, making you a master of industrial paint solutions.
- Proactively gather feedback from clients, ensuring we’re always enhancing our services and exceeding expectations.
Who You Are:
- You have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some solid experience in customer service or sales, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- You’re a great communicator with both written and verbal skills, and you know how to break down technical information for others to understand.
- You enjoy building meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues and have the interpersonal skills to do so.
- Detail-oriented? Organized? Multi-tasking wizard? That’s you!
- You’re proficient with MS Office, and any experience with POS/CRM systems is a bonus.
- If you have knowledge of industrial coatings or paint products, even better—but we’ll help you get up to speed if you don’t!
