Job Summary:The CADD Technician II will work under the direction of an immediate supervisor based out of our Norman office. The CADD Technician II will perform a variety of technical, professional and administrative tasks requiring considerate background in CADD operations, transportation management, and department plans.Supervisory Responsibilities:May supervise professional and/or technical staff.Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for all phases of CADD operations, transportation management operations, and use of software related to CADD operationsProvides training, guidance, expertise and assistance in to professional and/or technical staffDesigns and prepares complex civil drawing for transportation projects and building structures which may include earthwork, drainage, material quantities, geometrics, and details using CADD applicationsIncorporate red-line changes in existing drawings as directedComputes geometry for layouts and details of drawings, plans, and mapsPerforms other related duties, as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of AutoCADAbility to read and interpret engineering plansMathematics including algebra, plane and solid geometry and basic trigonometry
