Description Robert Half is looking for a Temp to Hire Community Services Director for a local non-profit organization.Position Summary:Operating at the Division Director level and reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent oversees various Program Managers to ensure mission fulfillment. This role encompasses a wide range of duties catering to the needs of the low-income community.Responsibilities:

Oversee the Income Tax Program, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.

Supervise District Center Directors, overseeing emergency services, food programs, youth initiatives, community surveys, and board representation.

Develop and update the Agency Needs Assessment, Community Action Plan, and Agency Strategic Plan in line with CSBG guidelines.

Seek new funding sources to support community programs, potentially involving grant writing.

Ensure timely submission of reports, grant applications, and budget requirements.

Manage expenditures within assigned areas and approve necessary purchases.

Maintain cleanliness of program-related buildings and coordinate maintenance with relevant departments.

Manage client transportation needs and vehicle maintenance.

Handle personnel matters including hiring, termination, discipline, and employee welfare.

Coordinate Agency activities with city and county entities and represent the Agency at conferences and meetings.

This role involves frequent offsite travel.

Requirements

Working Conditions:The role involves office work with occasional interruptions. Interactions with diverse personalities and grant-related tasks are common. Visual acuity and computer proficiency are necessary. Some lifting and walking may be required. Local travel is expected. Environmental conditions include standard office settings and potential exposure to infectious materials.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business, Public Administration, or related field. Two years of administrative or management experience in social programs required. Additional experience may substitute for the degree.

Strong managerial skills with proficiency in Public Relations and communication.

Experience in managing grant programs and securing funding.

Initiative, independent judgment, and strong writing skills are essential.

Proficiency in computer literacy and possession of a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
