Find your future with us. #TheFutureIsBuiltHereBoeing Global Services is currently seeking an Associate Design, Analysis, and Support Engineer to become part of the Structural Design, Analysis, and Support Team in (Oklahoma City, Ok).The Structural Design, Analysis, and Support Team is responsible for the development, integration, analysis and documentation of structural design in support of aircraft sustainment projects.Position Description:The successful candidate will perform basic structural analyses, including damage tolerance, fatigue, and strength, using well defined analysis tools. Additionally, the candidate will support structural design activities including 3-D modeling and analysis. The candidate may also perform analysis for basic aircraft structural repairs. Works under general supervision.Position Responsibilities:Utilize 3D modeling software for design and analysis of aircraft structure (CATIA V5 or similar software package).
Perform basic structural analysis, including damage tolerance, fatigue, and strength.
Document and publish/release structural designs and analysis results.
Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
Ability to analyze problems (troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, modification, or redesign) of assigned end items to support the design, development and modification of company products using knowledge of engineering disciplines (ME, EE, etc.).
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Oklahoma City, Ok).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
2 years of experience in an engineering role.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):2 years of experience using 3D modeling software (CATIA V5 or similar software package).
2 years of experience aircraft structural design or analysis engineering.
Typical Education & ExperienceEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
