Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Senior Business Intelligence Engineer solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. This role will manage dashboarding of patient experience and progress, provide insights for opportunities and initiates, their size and market potential. Conduct go/no go analysis on expanding initiatives.In this role you will work with the analytic teams across the enterprise to ensure work is accurate and complete and also work closely with the Integrated Health Patient Experience operations team.The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer's assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Integrated Health Analytics team supports the corporate initiative of growing the connection between CenterWell and Insurance segments.

This team works closely with the Patient Experience Analytics, Finance, and operational patient experience teams to accelerate the experience of Humana members using CenterWell assets.

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer leverages its advanced knowledge of data, visualization, transformation, and tools.

Develops analytics dashboards and reporting to assess the performance and impact of programs and products to maximize revenue growth and patient experience.

Transforms unstructured or semi-structured product analytics data into self-service analytics reports that improve the outcomes and quality of the programs we offer.

Begins to influence department's strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of data analytics experience OR Master's degree and 3 years of experience

Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations

Advanced experience using SQL to analyze complex datasets, can own complex data analysis and transformation processes with limited oversight

Experience with data visualization tools, Power BI preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication

Able to articulate and present findings and insights to senior leadership

Strong attention to detail

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Degree

Proficiency in understanding Health insurance related data

Consulting experience

Experience with the Azure Synapse Analytics platform or other cloud-based data transformation tools

Experience with digital product analytics, converting stakeholder requirements and site analytics into product reporting
