Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionEvaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability, and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained. Repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and more.Responsibilities

Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability, and yield.

Perform equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.

Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures.

Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.

Repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, and gutters.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude

Prior assembly experience

Facilities maintenance experience (plumbing, carpentry, drywall, etc.)

Preventive Maintenance on machinery

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Electrical maintenance experience

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Utilization of tools (plumbing, facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance, carpentry)

Attention to detail

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Ownership of a basic set of tools
