Manager of Sales Analytics & Reporting

The Manager of Sales Analytics & Reporting is responsible for providing and analyzing sales metrics, goals, and performance to ensure effective sales execution and achievement of growth objectives. This role manages the sales operations reporting team and is responsible for territory optimization and general sales reporting.RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs complex data research and analysis to support sales operations including data mining, statistical reporting and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets.

Provide business insight through sales analytics into the management of key sales processes for the purpose of driving revenue, increasing client retention and usage, and minimizing expense.

Lead sales analytics team responsible for the delivery of sales performance and productivity reporting associated with salesforce alignment, account expansion, and territory optimization.

Provides strategic direction for team members responsible for annual planning process including segmentation analysis and territory optimization.

Partner cross-departmentally to develop go-to-market strategies resulting in the attainment of KPIs such as pipeline development, bookings, and upsell opportunities.

Oversee the delivery of data and analytics that assists sales management in understanding and addressing sales process deficiencies, process bottlenecks, and performance support needs.

Leads and coordinates cross-functional projects to address process improvement needs.

Implement and leverage sales enablement platforms/tools.

Leverage internal CRM to provide pre-sales analytics on deal commitments and pipeline, and post-sale reporting of bookings data and performance against plan.

Provide ad-hoc reporting and project management support as needed.

Selection and development of SORA (sales operations reporting analyst) team

QualificationsEducation/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or similar field

Experience:

5+ years’ experience in data analytics, sales or marketing operations, financial planning and analysis, operational reporting, or combination of above with Paycom experience

3+ years’ experience as a business partner to executive-level leadership

3+ years’ management experience

Experience with CRM systems and data visualization tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related quantitative field

Experience:

3+ years’ experience leading data management, business intelligence and/or data science teams

3+ years’ experience with database technologies

Skills/Abilities:

Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities are required.

Strong business-partnering skills with senior sales management.

Experience leading and providing direction to an experienced, technical team of reporting analysts.

Understanding of solution architecture, technical integration, architecture methodologies

Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience including technical and non-technically driven functions.

Demonstrated excellent written/verbal communication skills with ability to influence

Demonstrated consistent delivery on commitments, while managing competing priorities

Ability to work independently, with general guidance on ambiguous objectives

Microsoft office (i.e., Word, Excel)
