Description Position DetailsPosition: Temporary ReceptionState Date: ASAPLocation: South OKCDuration: Temp - 6 monthsPay: $15+Position Overview:We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations efficiently, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and facilitating patient check-ins and check-outs. Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.Responsibilities:

Patient Communication: Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing necessary information.

Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments accurately, ensuring efficient use of time slots and resources.

Check-In Procedures: Greet patients warmly as they arrive, verify their personal and insurance information, and assist them in completing necessary paperwork.

Check-Out Procedures: Process patient payments, issue receipts, and schedule follow-up appointments as required. Ensure patients leave with all necessary information and resources.

Epic Software Utilization: Utilize Epic software to manage patient records, appointments, and other administrative tasks. Proficiency in navigating Epic software is preferred.

Maintain Reception Area: Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies. Manage patient flow to minimize wait times and maintain a comfortable environment.

Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with medical staff, nurses, and other departments to ensure seamless patient experiences and efficient operations.

Confidentiality: Adhere to patient confidentiality protocols and HIPAA regulations at all times, safeguarding sensitive information.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks.

Qualifications:Requirements Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.

Previous experience in a medical office setting or customer service role preferred.

Proficiency in Epic software preferred; ability to learn new software quickly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of medical terminology and procedures is an asset.

Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations.
