Description Established engineering consulting company is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. Ideal candidate will have oil and gas experience and be proficient in monthly accounting close and financial statement preparation.Responsibilities include: Timely semi-monthly invoicing of work activity to multiple clients Attention to detail on all reporting including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Coordinates and assists in the timely completion of monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP Oversee the timely payment/reporting of severance tax, state/federal royalty regulatory requirements Maintain the general ledger, coordinate daily accounting activities, perform analysis and reportingQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3+ years of oil and gas accounting experience Working knowledge of drilling, completion, and production activities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and oil and gas ERP systems QuickBooks experience preferredIf interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, please contact Jesseca McCalla at 405-876-7338. Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Accounting field, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required. Familiarity with General Ledger operations and Journal Entries is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary. Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is desirable. Experience with OGsys software is highly beneficial. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required. High attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry accounting standards and regulations is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently is necessary.
