A Day in the Life:This role reports to the VP Technology Business Management and serves in enterprise planning and business objective delivery through tech initiatives and resources. This is a hands-on role that will play an integral part in the Technology Business Management team. It is focused on the creation and ongoing enhancements to the Tech and Product Demand Intake Process, Quarterly Planning and resource allocation. This role will create governance around project delivery, implementing a standard delivery framework for all strategicWhat You'll Do:

Support the team to ensure that the work of tech and product is a direct contribution to the business imperatives and operating strategies of Hertz.

Transform the traditional function of PMO to a Portfolio organization. Build a strong intake and quarterly planning process

Champion the use of a Project Delivery Frame work (CHEF); Provide education, awareness and support for its implementation

Drive specific portfolio of strategic transformational initiatives. Partner with initiative business leadership teams from scope, design through execution, implementation and impact stages.

Function as a knowledge base and advisor to project management and initiative teams.

Deliver Solutions using our delivery framework that are on time, on budget and in scope

Create and manage projects with strong stakeholder alignment and buy-in

Drive close project collaboration across business, technology and product

Manage, support, and synthesize the work of project teams

Create, collaborate, and support the appropriate Project Framework documentation as required

Create Project Framework Gate materials as necessary

Interface with executives to define project priorities, implementation opportunities, challenges and communicate project risks and opportunities.

Contribute to the ongoing support of the PMO in alignment with Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines, quality standards and company delivery framework requirements.

Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.

Monitor compliance with project policies and standards, including Project Status Reports and Roadmaps

Coach and mentor project management practitioners and share knowledge of best practices.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, finance or business.

MBA or advanced certification desirable.

Minimum 15 years’ experience in technology project management with at least 5 years in leadership roles

Solid experience leading large, complex global programs with onshore and offshore delivery resources

Deep experience with modern technology service delivery frameworks including Agile, DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment.

Demonstrated experience leading large-scale change initiatives with enterprise level impact including programs with extensive cross-functional technology team involvement.

Expert in project management where delivery resources are heavily outsourced through managed services or contingent labor.

Experience with a broad range of technology projects including custom software development and engineering, packaged software implementation, information security, and technology platforms and infrastructure.

Proven success in leadership demonstrated by the ability to build, develop and retain high performing and highly effective teams.

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate new concepts effectively and drive change in process and behaviors.

Ability to be a company-wide change-agent that influences strategic actions and mindset changes.

Proven leadership abilities with an emphasis on collaboration and executive stakeholder management to gain their confidence and support.

Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Must be able to develop compelling business presentations and communicate technical topics to a business audience.

Excellent influencing and consultative skills with the ability to partner with and engage at multiple levels within Hertz, service provider and vendor organizations.

Large-scale project leadership and delivery using modern project management methodologies.

A continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to drive programs that reduce cost, increase agility and have measurable key performance indicators and metrics.

Strong people leadership capabilities including guiding and coaching team members when required, developing talent, and ensuring accountability for commitments that are made.

Direct experience leading complex, global IT projects with a combination of employee and contractor resources.

Formal project management qualification (e.g. Project Management Professional) desirable.

Agile project management certification (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) desirable.

Other technology certifications or qualifications a plus

This National Guard position is for a DIRECTOR OF INSPECTIONS (Title 5), Position Description Number T5867000 and is part of the OK 137th Special Operations Wing, Oklahoma Air National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located in an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing Inspector General (IG) Office. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the focal point for interpreting, developing, and implementing Air Force inspection policy and wing-level long-range strategic plans. Provides direction and oversight of internal and external inspections, audits, evaluations, reviews, exercises, and analyses to determine unit effectiveness and efficiency. Ensures operational, contingency, and mobilization plans adhere to policy and direct the effective use of wing resources. Plans, organizes, resources, and directs the execution of a wide range of complex inspection activities for the wing Commander\'s Inspection Program (CCIP). Activities include planning and directing inspections that incorporate Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Air Force (DAF), gaining major command(s) (G-MAJCOMs), National Guard Bureau (NGB), state, wing, local instructions, and laws for regulatory guidance. Oversees compliance, plans, and conducts By-Law, Special Emphasis Items (SEI), Special Interest Items (SII), Command Interest Items (CII) and nuclear assurance inspections as outlined by requirements from the DoD, DAF, NGB, and G-MAJCOM. Routinely required to interpret and incorporate complex laws, and guidance from all levels for the creation of inspection plans throughout the wing. Develops and communicates a continuously evaluated Risk Based Sampling Strategy (RBSS). The RBSS is designed to provide commanders a tool to use when determining resource allocation to areas of concern to help identify undetected non-compliance. Applies an extensive knowledge of installation operations and DoD, DAF, and G-MAJCOM guidance to direct complex strategic planning and exercise efforts. Conducts IG complaint, Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA), and whistleblower intake by interacting directly with unit members and employees, protects confidentiality of complainants, and ensures a thorough and complete complaint is presented to the IG.
