Position Overview & Responsibilities
The OMRF Research Café offers a convenient and welcoming space for employees and visitors to enjoy meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the workday. We’re looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment, brings a friendly and customer-focused attitude, and takes pride in being efficient, reliable, and detail-oriented. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Performing detailed and general cleaning to maintain a safe, sanitary workspace
Setting up and breaking down events held on-site
Caring for and maintaining non-food inventory, supplies, and equipment
Stocking supplies, running the cash register, and washing dishes as needed
Always maintaining a welcoming and customer service-oriented attitude
Completing additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen skills.
Strong time management and customer service skills.
Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, follow instructions, take initiative, and work without supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
A valid OKC Certified Food Service Operator Certificate is a plus
2 years of back-of-house or kitchen experience required
Work Hours
Typically, Monday through Friday 10AM to 2PM.
