We are looking for kitchen staff with a passion for craft beer and the highest quality food. The position is accountable for all kitchen prep, cleaning, basic food inventory management, cooking food to order to standard in a fast and efficient manner and is accountable directly to the Management Team. The following are requirements for the position:
- Experience cooking in a kitchen
- Experience working flat top, fryer, saute, pantry and expo functions preferred
- Proven, measurable track record of achieving results in food waste management, organization, cleanliness, quick, efficient & high quality cook to order food preparation
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
Oak & Ore is a craft beer bar and restaurant that serves the best craft beer available in Oklahoma the way the brewer intended it to be served. We utilize a special tap system that allows us to dial in each tap for the perfect pour in the appropriate glassware at multiple, style appropriate temperatures. We pair this all with an ever-evolving selection of delicious appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts inspired by a diversity of cultural influences. Because of this, we utilize a 100% tip share model for hourly employees including kitchen staff which results in significantly higher than industry standard average wages ranging anywhere from $14-$20/hr +.
