Animal Eye Clinic is a well-established veterinary ophthalmology practice owned by Dr. Robert Gwin, DVM, MS., DACVO., dedicated to providing high-quality care to our furry patients. We are seeking a passionate, Registered Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Assistant to join our OKC team.
Job Description:
- Assist Dr. Gwin with medical procedures, exams, and surgeries
- Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging (CT scan in Tulsa)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by Dr. Gwin
- Provide compassionate care to all animals and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
- Must be able to place IV catheters and intubate patients for surgery
Requirements:
- Seasoned registered veterinary technician/veterinary assistant
- Strong knowledge of animal care and medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Office/front desk experience is a plus
