Building Maintenance Tech for Oklahoma City Area
Compensation: $20-22.00/ Hr.
Job title: Maintenance Tech
We recognize the Building Maintenance is the core of the tenant experience. Not only are they troubleshooting and solving various maintenance issues. This is a huge responsibility and we value the level of customer care it takes to do this well. Maintenance is responsible for assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of the building. The Maintenance is very motivated to find solutions to building issues and has an eye for detail. Most of all, Maintenance enjoy the work they do and continuously help create the tenant's experience.
Responsibilities:
-Respond to service requests
-Operate and monitor company programs, equipment, and systems daily, such as temperature controls, electrical systems, plumbing, and fiber optics.
-Perform electrical, mechanical, welding and plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed, reporting issues promptly to management.
-Assist in construction, repairs, and modifications to equipment and structures, following safety guidelines and protocols.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
-Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed, coordinating activities and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
-Experience in maintenance or related field preferred
-Physical fitness and ability to perform physical labor in various environmental conditions.
-Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing fields is a plus.
-Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, welding, plumbing systems, repair techniques, and tools.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
-Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work sites.
Schedule:
-6 to 8 hour shift
-Monday to Friday
-Weekends as needed
-Expected hours: 36 to 40 per week
