Position Overview
Manufacturing Company is seeking a full-time Textile cutter. Attention to detail, great attitude, great work ethic, and working as a team are important traits that this position needs. Follow company material handling procedures to ensure quality products.
Essential Job Functions
· Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
· Monitor raw material by cycle counting and reporting any shortage to lead or direct supervisor
· Keep Raw material separate, organized and in good rotation.
· Cut raw materials based on production orders for products being produced by the production team using Beam head Press, clicker die’s, rotary knives, and various hot/cold cutting machines.
· Manage die conditions by maintaining sharpness and reporting issues to lead or direct supervisor
· Demonstrate the ability to take orders and instructions from lead or supervisor
· Follow all safety measures established
· Must be able to perform other duties as assigned
Non-Essential Job Functions
· Ability to work in both hot and cold climates.
· Maybe required to fill in for absent employees in other positions.
· Experience with forklift safety and operation
Requirements
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
· Experienced working on a production floor or warehouse setting
· Must have reliable Transportation
· Monday-Friday; occasional overtime is required. Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.
· Ability to perform repetitious work accurately
· Adequate work experience will demonstrate the ability to perform the requirement and duties of the position
· Fork-lift certified
Other Skills/Abilities
· Ability to read work instructions and SOPS’s
· Ability to operate machinery
· Sewing
