Summary of Position:
Glo Tanning is seeking a F/T, Permanent Maintenance Tech who can start immediately. Our Service Technician will work both independently and as a team member to maintain our facilities and equipment at 12+ locations. Must be in good physical condition as lifting may be necessary at times. While we are looking for some experience - Ambition, Attitude and Aptitude are equally important to us as a team.
Responsibilities of our Technicians include (but are not limited to), facility maintenance and equipment repair, painting, drywall, appliance repair, and Mechanical/HVAC maintenance. Extensive ON THE JOB TRAINING is provided however, knowledge of simple electrical, mechanical or construction background is helpful.
We are interested in an applicants potential and the ability to learn more than the knowledge you may currently possess.
This position may require you to work some evenings and weekends on a rotational basis. We currently run a crew of 2 and with well over a million visitors per year our facilities need constant attention to detail. Qualifications:
- Have a strong desire to grow and attention to detail
- Related experience in maintenance, construction or related field helpful
- Electrical or mechanical basic knowledge preferred
- Read, write and understand the English language
- Sense of urgency and self-motivation; (ability to work independently)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Clean DMV record
