Field Equipment Installers are responsible for ensuring the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment and exceptional service delivery to our customers. This position works closely with and receives direction from Project Management teams. While performing the duties of this role, the Field Installer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices. Installers must be self-motivated with high energy and the ability to interact with numerous individuals, in multiple functions, in a dynamic and changing environment. The duties and responsibilities described are not necessarily an exhaustive list. Additional duties may be assigned to the employee as necessitated by business demands.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background.
Be a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and creativity.
Ability to lift heavy equipment (minimum 50 lbs.)
Possess strong problem-solving skills, basic math, attention to details and customer service skills.
Ability to work varying hours depending on season —Out-of-town travel is required, including overnights. Paid Per Diem, Hotel and Company vehicle usage.
Ability to read tape measure, blue prints, and operate hand/power tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent the company in a professional manner
Safely deliver, uncrate, assemble, and set commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites per product specifications and manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensure all work documentation is fully and accurately completed. This may include, but not limited to, job progress, hours worked, punch lists and taking photos to document work.
Attend required safety training and obtain required certifications, such as OSHA.
Attend company, construction, and scheduling meetings, as required.
Other duties as assigned
Work involves frequent handling of moderate to heavy components up to several hundred pounds utilizing mechanical and non-mechanical methods and may include walking or standing most of the time. Work may be performed in cold and hot temperatures in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work is performed on active construction sites where employees may be exposed to dust, loud noise, odors, vibrations, and other hazards found on construction sites.
