Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Septic System Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial septic systems according to state and local codes. This role requires strong knowledge of excavation, plumbing connections, grading, and system layout, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install new septic tanks, drain fields, distribution boxes, and related piping systems.
Perform site evaluations and layout septic systems based on design plans and soil conditions.
Excavate and backfill trenches safely and according to specifications.
Connect plumbing systems from buildings to septic systems.
Inspect and repair existing septic systems as needed.
Operate and maintain excavation and installation equipment.
Ensure all work complies with local health department and environmental regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, and team members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in septic system installation or related construction field.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
Experience operating excavators, skid steers, and trenchers.
Knowledge of plumbing, grading, and soil types.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
