Position Overview:
As a CNC Woodworking Helper, you will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery used in wood processing. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about woodworking and CNC operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and calibration of CNC machines for wood cutting and milling.
- Load materials onto the CNC machine and ensure proper alignment.
- Monitor machine operations during production runs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with the lead operator to troubleshoot and resolve any machine issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in woodworking or carpentry is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of CNC machinery and woodworking processes is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques.
