We are searching for a Parts Manager to monitor the current parts inventory, work with owner to price parts and maintain profitability. This includes but is not limited to inspecting and receiving parts for damage, maintaining parts inventory, quality, and accuracy. Return and re-ordering any damaged or incorrect parts. You will also directly handle customer service when an issue needs extra support. Our ideal applicant has several years of experience working with parts inventory. You also need strong customer service and communication skills.
Parts Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Take regular inventory and place orders when necessary
Ensure inventory levels are maintained accurately and neatly
Making lists of parts to be ordered
Good negotiation skills and the ability to make timely decisions
Selling manufactured parts to customers
Looking for new suppliers offering better pricing or quality
Resolving any inconsistencies for all purchase orders
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Oversee the shipment of replacement parts
Handle complex or pressing customer issues
Compliance with company guidelines and procedures
Consistent and accurate communications with owner
Parts Manager Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Parts handling experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Computer proficiency
