Job Title: Security/Bouncer (Part-Time)
Location: NW Oklahoma City/ Bricktown
Pay: $12-15an hour paid weekly every Wednesday in cash
Shifts are open can be any day anytime between 7pm-2am
Overview:
This position is perfect for someone looking for a reliable side gig with flexible hours. The Door Host plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment by monitoring entry, ensuring patron safety, and assisting in crowd control.
Responsibilities:
Remove patrons attempting to fight and or who are to intoxicated using de escalation and verbal judo
Protect your fellow bouncers when needed
maintain professionalism and customer service while in the scope of your duties
use metal detectors wands to slowly and efficiently wand down patrons for weapons take your time checking bags and scanning for weapons
Use flashlight to clear pathways and usher bar staff if needed
Check with bar staff and keep clear communication with other bouncers and bartenders
visually check ID to verify the age of all patrons entering the establishment, regardless of appearance.
Operate the ID scanner to verify the age of all patrons entering the establishment, regardless of appearance.
Maintain an accurate headcount and monitor crowd compliance with the fire marshal’s regulations.
When away from the door, ensure drinks aren’t set on pool tables and monitor restrooms to prevent misuse. And look out intoxicated individuals
Walk through the venue to observe and report any altercations, disturbances, or emergencies.
Secure and return the handheld radio and ID scanner at the end of each shift.
Maintain a professional demeanor and calmly handle any potential conflicts or emergencies.
Requirements:
Ability to stay calm in high-energy, potentially hostile environments.
Strong self-control and a professional attitude.
Experience with ID scanners and handheld radios and metal detectors preferred (training will be provided).
CLEET license preferred but not required.
Optional personal equipment: flashlight,earpiece (K1 connector), foam or gel pepper spray, taser. Baton if cleet certified No firearms permitted.
