Position: Security/Bouncer
Pay: $15/hour, paid weekly (1099 - Cash payment every Wednesday)
Hours: Vary between a 7 PM-10 PM start time and a 1 AM-2 AM close time
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
CLEET Certification Preferred (Training available for qualified candidates)

Position Responsibilities
Remove patrons attempting to fight or who are overly intoxicated using de-escalation techniques and verbal judo.
Protect your fellow bouncers when needed while maintaining a teamwork-oriented approach.
Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service while executing your duties.
Use metal detector wands to thoroughly and efficiently screen patrons for weapons. Take your time checking bags and scanning for prohibited items.
Use a flashlight to clear pathways and assist bar staff with navigating dark or crowded areas.
Check in regularly with bar staff and maintain clear communication with other bouncers and bartenders.
Visually check IDs and operate the ID scanner to verify the age of all patrons entering the establishment, regardless of appearance.
Keep an accurate headcount and monitor crowd compliance with fire marshal regulations.
Monitor restrooms for misuse, watch for intoxicated individuals, and ensure drinks aren’t set on pool tables.
Patrol the venue to observe and report any altercations, disturbances, or emergencies.
Secure and return handheld radios, ID scanners, and other equipment at the end of each shift.
Maintain a professional demeanor and handle potential conflicts or emergencies calmly.
Position Requirements
Maturity & Professionalism: Stay calm in high-energy, potentially hostile environments, and maintain a strong command presence.
Self-Control: Display strong emotional control and handle conflicts or criticism constructively.
Communication Skills: Work effectively with your team, bar staff, and patrons. Experience with handheld radios is preferred but not required (training provided).
Attention to Detail: Accurately use ID scanners, metal detectors, and headcount clickers to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Customer Service: Build trust and respect with staff and patrons by providing a welcoming and safe environment.
Reliable Transportation: You must be able to consistently arrive on time for your shifts.
Adaptability: Be prepared to work in varying conditions, including outdoor posts and colder weather.

For Non-CLEET Certified Candidates:
Black shirt or “Staff” shirt
Jeans, slacks, or cargo pants
Flashlight
(Optional) Taser
For CLEET Certified Candidates:
Security shirt and CLEET-approved gear (No firearms – all contracts are unarmed)
Earpiece with K1 connector (if available)
