We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Carpenter with proven experience in completing commercial punch lists from start to finish. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure final project delivery meets quality standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and complete commercial punch list items with minimal supervision
Perform finish carpentry and minor repairs across multiple trades
Read and interpret scopes of work and punch list documentation
Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding progress and issues
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with:
Hanging sheetrock
Mudding and taping
Framing (metal and wood)
Installing insulation
Installing tile (floor and wall)
Installing various flooring types (vinyl, laminate, hardwood, etc.)
General construction tasks including trim work, hardware installation, and minor plumbing/electrical fixes
Must be able to complete a commercial punch list
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial carpentry or general construction
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding as needed
