Accident Care and Treatment Center is looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician/General Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for general maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, handyman duties and general labor throughout our commercial facility and a few residential properties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Complete general maintenance and repairs of equipment, facility systems, and structures.
-Replace and/or repair light fixtures, plumbing, faucets, fixtures, and wiring.
-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
-Respond to emergency requests.
-Maintain inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
-Undertake light construction projects such as painting and drywall repair.
-Lift and move heavy materials.
Qualifications:
A minimum of four years' maintenance experience is required, previous construction experience a plus. Candidates should possess the ability to utilize the proper tools and materials for repair work. Familiarity with standard maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and regulations is essential. The role requires the ability to work independently, must have outstanding communication and customer service abilities. Applicants must be able to follow instructions, lift heavy materials, and remain standing or walking for prolonged periods of time. A clean driving record is also necessary.
Work Hours and Benefits:
The role is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional emergency call-outs during nights and weekends.
