Full-Time | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM | Pay Rate: $17.98 hourly | Schedule may change based on business needs.Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will assist the classroom teacher with the implementation of the educational program. This position must maintain a working relationship with other staff members, parents, and children. You will report to education leadership.Primary Tasks:
You will monitor the safety and behavior of children in classroom, on the bus, and while on the playground.
Help set up the environment (indoor/outdoor) for the activities of the day.
Help prepare and teach Weekly Planning Form based on children's individual developmental needs
Observe and record behaviors of children to assist the teacher in the identification of each child's strengths and growth areas.
You will attend parent meetings, home visits, parent/teacher conferences.
Assist children during meals.
Be a willing participant in Tribal functions when needed
Must maintain a commercial driver's license (minimum of Class "C" with a passenger endorsement and a School Bus Driving Certificate)
Must obtain a Food Handler's Permit
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must have knowledge and ability to work with appropriate software applications.
Must have the ability to work with children, remain calm, and patient when emergency situations and difficult situations occur
Experience working with children with a professional setting preferred (2+ years)
