AUTOCAD DRAFTING CHECKER $23-$25 hr DOE
Overview
Fabrication company in East Tulsa looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman Checker. Company is looking for an experienced draftsman who will be able to review 3D models and 2D drawings while ensuring accuracy and quality. The Ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD. Knowledge of steel fabrication and design is a must, knowledge of fired heaters, boilers, and or heat exchangers is necessary as your main roll will be to review and assist draftsman in design.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify fabrication drawings for compliance with company fabrication standards.
Work with engineering team and draftsman to maintain company standards
Create 3D models & 2D fabrication drawings using Inventor.
Create accurate bill of materials (BOM) for production needs.
Creation of various documentation and deliverables required for fabrication.
Prepare, review, and redraft based on feedback from the engineer team.
Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team along with various other tasks.
Qualifications:
Minimum of at leas 3 years of experience in drafting within a fabrication setting.
Proficient in CAD software including Inventor and AutoCAD
Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Must show strong verbal and written communication
Must show strong organization and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23 - $25 per hour DOE
