Description You could join a fast-growing Construction/Contractor team via Robert Half by developing your career as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Execute additional tasks as needed
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Help with internal and external audits as required
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Implement full-cycle A/P Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Strong organization skills
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
5+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
