The Controller will oversee a centralized accounting office supporting four dealerships (Mercedes, Porsche, Infiniti, and Nissan). As the Automotive Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our automotive business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsConduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost reductionMonitor performance metrics such as DOC Variance, CIT, Warranty Credit, Posting efficiency, etc.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functionsImplement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policiesCollaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-makingManage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partnersSupervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvementStay up-to-date with automotive industry trends and financial best practices
