The masker prepares parts for paint and masking operation.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and apply work order instructions and sketches to prepare parts for paint.
Sand, strip or tape off parts to prepare parts for paint.
Arrange parts on table or racks.
Ability to move parts through paint process, organize work flow to painter and maintain product traceability.
Required Skills/Competencies
Ability to read and understand work orders.
Ability to be on your feet and/or sit for extended periods of time and to organize work flow.
Ability to work in a team environment with positive results.
Ability to meet production and quality requirements with minimum supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES
High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
