Monitors performance of team members and coaches for improved quality and quantity of work.Checks inventory and parts availability and assigns work according to priority and shipping schedules. Predictably and regularly attends work and is punctual
Effectively assesses skills, and trains, supervises, and evaluates the work of others
Reviews production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers and assigns duties
Reviews all work completed by assigned group members and sign off on its acceptance in accordance with criteria in the Departmental Work Instructions and API specifications
Rolls and closes job or completes operation, etc. in Syteline
Reads, analyzes, understands and demonstrates knowledge of E&C FINFAN Quality Systems including travelers, work instructions, In-Process Inspection Check Lists, etc
Responsible for the timely completion of the In-Process Checklist after associated tasks are completed
Assists in implementing improvements of facilities, processes, and other related work functions
Acts as a liaison with other departments to resolve print or fabrication problems
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to professionally interact with all employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
Dependability
Ability to conduct himself/herself in a considerate, professional, cooperative and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors and visitors
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
Basic proficiency in shop math skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Syteline or other ERP system preferred
3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
