This small, dynamic, and flexible environment offers a unique opportunity to showcase your talents by participating in collaborative, complex problem-solving, and emerging technologies.The Senior Systems Programming Analyst is responsible for the evaluation, design, development, testing, maintenance, protection, and support of ConnectShip technology assets. In this role, the candidate will be eliciting, analyzing, and communicating very closely with cross-functional teams. They will contribute to the management, implementation, maintenance, performance, and support of infrastructures, applications, appliances, and a variety of hardware and software.Responsibilities and Duties
Performs planning, diagnoses risk and system issues, and takes corrective actions to ensure continuity of operations
Identifies and implements technologies and processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment
Administration and maintenance of on-prem, virtual, and cloud infrastructure
Active Directory administration and maintenance (both on-prem and Entra AD)
Deployment and administration of Azure resources. Manage subscriptions, tenants, accounts, usage, cost, and performance
M365 administration, including migration project (vendor engagement, SOW, project management, UAT) and ongoing maintenance
Deploy, administer, and maintain VOIP technology (Team Voice)
Server and workstation hardware and software deployments and patching
Network hardware administration and maintenance (firewalls, switches, printers)
Database administration (SQL Server)
Provide technical support and troubleshoot end-user issues
Hardware and software inventory management
Monitors current and emerging technologies, trends, and tools
Continual training to keep up with emerging technologies
Works with IT team to cover all necessary activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with Azure cloud platform technology
Database design experience (SQL Server)
Experience deploying servers and workstations (hardware and software)
Experience deploying hardware and software patches
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Adaptability and the desire to embrace change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience
