Compensation: $17 per hour + GAS ALLOWANCE/COMPANY VEHICLE PROVIDED AFTER PROBATIONARY PERIOD

Job Title: Maintenance Tech
Property Management Company is seeking experienced maintenance personnel in apartment management field. We are a dynamic, stable company with rental properties in the NE Oklahoma/SE Kansas areas.
This position requires prior work experience in general plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair and rent ready apartment preparation. Individual must be computer literate and have knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance and carpentry. This position also requires the candidate have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license. Company issued tools supplied upon hire.
Major Skills Required:
-Ability to prepare apartments including painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical, drywall and general maintenance and repair
-Strong organization and communication skills
-Order parts and maintain inventory supplies
-Prioritize maintenance calls and follow up to ensure completion of work/project
-Handle resident repair request in a timely manner
-Complete all maintenance work orders, including electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and carpentry
-Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-Thorough knowledge of the methods, practice, tools and material used in general maintenance and repair work
- Possible requirement to be on-call for emergency situations, after probationary period and per on-call schedule with other staff
-The ideal candidate must speak fluent English, energetic, results-oriented, intelligent, organized and a team player.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Must have own reliable transportation
-Minimum of a High school graduate or GED required
-Requires handling average weight objects up to 25-50 pounds and standing or walking for up to 8 hours a day
Compensation: $17 per hour/ based on experience
-A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PROOF OF AUTO INSURANCE WILL BE NEEDED.
-A full background check including criminal history check performed
-DMV check will be ran as part of our application process. Employer may require a pre-employment physical and drug test to be conducted.
